Her feedback was “You did a really good job answering their questions. But, it’s not an essay test. Say something the audience will be interested to hear.”
I was prepping for a video interview and working through the questions in-advance.
And, she was absolutely right… if this had been an exam, I would’ve earned an A+ for my answers.
But, they were boring.
Dry.
Expected.
There’s no doubt that we know how to answer the questions.
What’s less sure is whether we will choose something memorable instead.
